Prints need air to dry and racks that sit on the floor take up a lot of space. I designed these to attach to a frame that gets lifted to the ceiling. They’re based on some racks I’ve seen in the UK but these are much more space efficient and lightweight. The ones I currently use are 3D printed but I’ve also cut versions from plywood with a laser cutter.
One could use a simple rope and pulley to lift the rack to the ceiling. An inexpensive bike lift from Harbor Freight will suffice, but this clothes drying rack from Foxydry is super nice!
My prints are safely out of the way while they’re drying, and they also dry faster in the warmer air above.
